"As the father of two children who attended Putnam City Schools all 12 years, and as a property owner in the District, it is important to me that all students attending PC schools have the resources available to them to maximize their educational experience.  

As state support of education is being reduced, along with increasing federal mandates being placed on state and local district budgets, it is more important that a source of funding for particular activities and disciplines be available to the Putnam City District.  The Foundation provides that funding source, and can act in hours, rather than months or years, to address a pressing need."
